David A.Paul

David Paul approaches the practice of law with passion and commitment. David graduated first in his class at Stetson University College of Law. In addition to academic honors, David won numerous national and regional trial competitions and was selected as the Best Advocate in the country in the ABA (American Bar Association) National Trial Competition.

David began his career at a prominent Orlando law firm, defending health care facilities and other corporations. David had the benefit of strong mentorship and remains grateful for the lessons he was taught in and out of the courtroom. Today, David only represents individuals and families focusing on litigation and trial practice in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, trucking litigation, roadside construction accidents, insurance bad faith litigation, and professional negligence cases.

David has received an AV peer-review rating, which is the highest rating for both legal ability and ethics, and reflects a lawyer who “is recognized for the highest level of skill and integrity.” Mr. Paul has also been elected by his peers to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite (an honor for less than 2% of Florida’s attorneys) and invited into the trial lawyer honorary society, Litigation Counsel of America (composed of less than one half of one percent of attorneys). David has recently been selected by his peers as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), which is an invitation only trial lawyer’s organization for attorneys who display “skill, civility and integrity.”

David’s team has litigated cases throughout the Southeastern United States and prosecuted cases at trial involving wrongful death, trucking accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and catastrophic personal injuries. Recently, David and his brother had the distinction of achieving one of the largest verdicts for 2008 when an Orange County jury returned a verdict of $15 million for the wrongful death of a young woman. David has achieved more than 25 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million.

David was recently selected as one of eight Plaintiff’s Lawyers in Orlando for the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification in 2013.
