Joseph Tamborello, Jr. has been a civil litigator in Orlando for over ten years. During his first nine years of practice, he worked with another prestigious local law firm, handling both plaintiff and defense-oriented matters. He acquired diverse experience serving a wide range of clients with issues related to personal injury, wrongful death, commercial disputes and insurance claims.
Mr. Tamborello is originally from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 1999. He was a member of both the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams, serving as President of the Mock Trial team in his final year of law school. In his third year, he also engaged in his first trial experience as a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office in Gadsden County, Florida.
Before pursuing law, Mr. Tamborello worked as an actor and drama instructor. He earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, as well as a Bachelors degree in Theatre/Media Arts from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. His acting background has given him a unique asset in the theatre of trial advocacy.
Mr. Tamborello is married with two children. He is proud to have served on the Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s Associate Board (president, 2002-03), and continues to be actively involved in the local arts scene, both as a patron and, when schedule permits, a performer. He has also been recognized for his participation in the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid program, serving as a Guardian Ad Litem for many years.
Most recently, Mr. Tamborello has become actively involved as a volunteer with his church, Grace Fellowship, as part of its media team, where he produces, directs and edits short films and videos that tell stories of the transformative power Jesus Christ has had in people’s lives.
